ABOUT US

1999

The company CASH POINT a.s. was founded in 1999. Initially, it was mainly concerned with refunding value added tax for goods purchased in the Czech Republic and exported abroad. It cooperated in this area with VAT MAX a. s., which was one of the most important companies in this field on the Czech market. Other financial services were gradually added to this service, of which currency exchange is the most important.

2000

During the years 2000 – 2001, a network of exchange offices was built throughout the Czech Republic, and in the second half of 2001, VAT MAX's VAT refund division was sold to Global Refund and other activities were transferred to Cash Point.

2012

Exchange offices are located in large shopping centers Ostrava Futurum, Shopping Park Avion Ostrava. In 2012, we successfully opened two new branches in Ostrava. In the FORUM Nová Karolina shopping center and in the Globus Hypermarket Ostrava – Plesná.

Today

The dominant service provided by the company today is currency exchange, and another no less important service of a financial nature is Western Union, the transfer of funds in electronic form to almost the entire world.‍
